High School Rugby
WHO is it for?
All high school aged boys welcome (U19)*!
Whether you're new to sports, looking for a fresh challenge, or eager to be part of a close-knit team, rugby welcomes players of all abilities and backgrounds. It's a sport where inclusiveness shines, and there's a position for every type of athlete.
It is a great sport on its own and an excellent cross training sport for football, wrestling, basketball, and even soccer.
We currently only offer a boys program as it is not co-ed, but if there is interest would love to start a girls program!
*(DOB between 9/2/05 and 9/1/09 for year ending 8/31/25)
WHY play Rugby?
Rugby is a dynamic, team-oriented sport that builds confidence, resilience, and lifelong friendships. It teaches important values like discipline, respect, and teamwork while helping players stay active and healthy.
Rugby is a place where every player, regardless of size, speed, or experience, can find their role and make an impact on the team.
WHAT is Rugby?
Rugby is like a cross between wrestling, basketball, and soccer. It is a physical, continuous play sport that requires a wide range of skills and body shapes of all sizes. There is running, kicking, passing, jumping, tackling, scrumming, and rucking to name some of the skills needed.
If you have an athlete that loves a physical game, but also likes get their hands on the ball and do it all then Rugby is the game for them.
WHEN do you play?
Summer time (EO May - July). While we are always looking to expand the season, our primary High School (u19) season runs from the end of May to July.
Practice is currently twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 - 7:00pm
COST?
Only $125 for the season.
